#Steam controller wired mode not working drivers
I've tried uninstalling said "Valve" device drivers and replugging the Steam Controller but still Steam wont pick it up. Keybindings show the right bindings for movement, but cannot register any button presses from any of my controllers.
Please, ZOSBillE send my issue out and see if someone can help. In device manager when wireless it's under "Steam Controller" and when wired it's just "Valve".? I've wasted a day trying to get the controller working. HOWEVER, when I plug the wire in, Steam does not recognise it as a Steam Controller. So the controller works fine wirelessly but when I'm sat at my desk I don't wanna use the batteries cause I'm poor and don't wanna buy anymore so I planned to use the wire. I really hope this helps cause it was frustrating for me. one of them makes the steam logo light up but the controller itself isnt detected and doesnt do anything.
